Before everything

Between 2015 (also stated 2013, needs fact checking) and 2023 years the place was pretty much unmoderated and the rules were standard: coaxing only the memes. But eventually the memes ran out and people started posting comics, self inserts, etc.

Mod interview (Q4 2025):

Mod overthrowal I'm not sure, but sloppy content yeah definitely. There was a whole year long period where smuggies disguised as snafus ran the subreddit to the ground, thanks to the fact that there wasn't any mods that cared about the subs og purpose things just kept getting worse and worse, until finally pigeon doctor told redditorson to give me mod perms, and the rest is what you already know really

About the mod overthrowal part, I havent been with this sub for more than 2 years and mox has only modded the place for 5 years despite this subreddit being almost 13 years old

After mod changes

Rules were made more strict. Definitions of a snafu and a smuggie was made more and more clearer and it pretty much because the place you know it as.
